Description

BehavLab is composed of thirty-two computers. The computers are placed in separated cubicles to forbid uncontrolled interactions between the participants during the experiment. The computers run on Windows 7 and the software for running experiments is z-Tree.

The large capacity offered by GATE-LAB can limit the number of sessions, which reduces the time spent in reading instructions, the risk of changes in the environment, information can be spread between people involved in successive sessions.

The experimenter can monitor the experiment from a separate control room with the equipment for controlling the experiment and a system of audio monitoring, so that subjects make their decisions without the feeling of being observed.  Each cubicle is equipped with an alert system.
