experimental economics, exclusion, reintegration, self-deception, overconfidence
I am PhD Student in experimental and behavioral economics in a joint program between the GATE and QUT (Brisbane, Australia). My research team interest lie in the area of self-deception and decision making. We design experiments in psychology and economics in order to determine when, why and how people manipulate their perception of their own abilities or environment in strategic interactions. From the economics point of view, we focus on situations in which self-deception is likely to be costly in order to help policy makers to prevent/limit them.
