Benoît is a professor at Université Lumière Lyon 2 and a researcher at GATE-LAB. His research lies at the intersection of behavioral economics and social choice. His recent work focuses on the value individuals place on freedom of choice: preference over menus, taste for or aversion to freedom, and the effect of the choice proliferation on final decisions. He is also interested in assessing people's perception of social justice and in studying the effect of collective deliberation on individual preferences and collective choice.
