João is a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Lyon 2 and GATE-LAB. He obtained a Doctoral Degree in Economics from Aix-Marseille University (AMSE) in 2017. His main research interests are related to behavioural & experimental economics, individual & social choice, welfare economics, political & public economics, and economic philosophy.
He combines theoretical and experimental methods, and his recent work focus on topics related to welfare economics, individual and group-deliberation, and opportunities to choose and control.
He is currently part of the ANR funded project Assessing the Value of Freedom: An Experimental Approach.
